Jamaican foods

Jamaica inn restaurant

Jamaica inn restaurant overlooks the Caribbean sea. Breakfast is severed at 7:30-10:30am. lunch starts at 1-2pm and dinners at 7:30-9:30pm. During both breakfast and lunch you'll be able to enjoy some your American meals and on Mondays, Wednesday , Fridays and Sundays you can enjoy some Jamaican meals.

personally I haven't been to this restaurant but reading about it seems like fun to view and go to but if you're looking for a way to enjoy all the good foods Jamaica has its not the right choice.

Holiday celebrations

majority of Jamaicans are Christian. A Traditional  Jamaican  meal would be jerked chicken or curried chicken or goat with gungo peas. The drink that goes with this traditional drink would be sorrel. As a desert you would have Jamaican black cake.

I've had all of these meals and traditional things, its very good. I think if you ever get a chance to try any of these you should take it.

Breakfast

One popular breakfast is ackee and selfish served with callaloo boiled green bananas. Other popular breakfasts are cornmeal, paintain and porridge.

Some of these breakfasts I haven't tired but the one that I recommend  you try is the ackee and salt fish.

Roadside Vendors

roadside vendors are popular. In Jamaica for food on the go. this this type of thing is typical for lunch. vendors usually include fish tea, pepperpot soup and butter roast yams with saltfish  just naming a few. Bun and cheese is very easy buy at a shop but its also a popular lunch.

personally I love roadside vendors because its very good food. usually fresh, its very easy to get. the lines are not long and its all through out the day.
